Renaissance Festival

forttryonknight.jpg

A few weekends ago a renaissance festival came to Fort Tryon Park, on the lawn in front of the Cloisters Museum (A train to 190th street, in Manhattan), with jousting, pickles in a wheelbarrow, people dressed in medieval costumes and a human chess game on a giant chess board. It's one of the best reasons to visit uptown!
