Vegan Marshmallows
Our lives were so touched by the recent vegan marshmallow scandal. We first noticed that Whole Foods hadn't had the wonderful Tiny Trapeze marshmallows for a while. It seemed odd, but they cost a fortune, and I wasn't ready to re-finance the apartment for a pack of 6 marshamallows, so while we felt the loss, it wasn't so profound, at that point.
Then, we went to 'Snice and ordered hot chocolate and noticed they'd skimped us on the marshmallows. Weird, we thought.
A few weeks later our favorite Teany Rocky Road vegan brownies didn't have marshmallows, either. "What's with this town," we thought, and wondered if the marshmallow shipping trucks were on strike.
Finally, today, noticing again the lack of marshmallows on our 'Snice hot chocolate, and the lack of marshmallows for sale, we asked! Turns out, the "vegan" gelatin wasn't vegan or kosher.

Pangea makes seriously vegan 'shmallows. They even burst into flame over a campfire, and make good s'mores.
(I found your site at random; you two are just grand.)

Oh no! I feel terrible. Especially for all the times I bought you guys a bag, and we nearly polished all of them off. I was aiding and abetting bad behavior!
